Last year's ice storm brought down our beautiful oak trees and with that, several sections of our fence. About Woodburn, OR
Woodburn, Oregon is a small city that has been around since 1871 when it was founded by settlers who arrived on the train route coming from Portland. The community offers many attractions including itsById uniqueness and rich history with events such as Pioneer Day celebrations each year to commemorate their heritage!
Woodburn is part of the Salem Metropolitan Statistical Area. With a population of 24,080 at the 2010 census, it is the third-most populous in that metropolitan area after Salem and Keizer.
Woodburn is a town in Oregon that was originally called HALSEY, but then had its name changed to WOODBURN because of an unfortunate slash burn. The post office has been located here since 1887 when it opened up after being established as part of the trail system between Portland and California (nee Sandwich).
